Thought the running around was a bit dangerous as there was loads of gym equipment on the floor we had to hop over, and I knocked in to someone else when we were told to go in the other direction. Like the idea of doing something a bit different, just don’t think it worked in the space

alle beoordelingen weergevenFinally tried the legendary Barry’s on my visit to London. I didn’t realise it would be so brutal and as someone who works out regularly, I died (in a good way). This location was lovely and spacious. The changing room was big and clean with great amenities. The service was also good from reception to the trainer. As a first timer I also got a complementary protein shake which was a nice touch.

I don’t think the man I saw gave me his name but he was very professional and accommodating, and the massage was very good. I booked a 45 minute sports massage to see what it was like and I think if I come back I’d go for the hour and a half option as the time flew by!

Couple of things to note if you haven’t done this before - your hair will get soggy and full of Epsom salts so either bring a shower cap / swimming cap or the products you need to wash condition and style your hair. You will also be provided foam earplugs - these do not work on me and I hadn’t realised earplugs were involved so would have brought silicone ones from home.
