It was very good because she ensured the correct muscles were engaged so we would not strain ourselves. I really enjoyed the good stretch and light intensity on this beginner class. You might like to know, this class attracts an older crowd (60+). I’m young but they made me feel very welcome, lovely people :) And it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be, honestly no different to any other HIIT class; you can push yourself as hard as you want.

It’s quite beginner-friendly. So far, all exercises can be done with both hands holding the barre. There’s also a sense of progression between classes. In the last session, I even tried jumps en pointe for the first time.

Small class size means it’s also easier to improve because he’s able to give more attention and watch out for how you’re performing the moves. Would recommend, he is able to adapt it for your level.
