I was a bit nervous about going to West Oakland, but the area felt safe and welcoming—it was clean, had other businesses nearby, including a hair salon, and a friendly receptionist at the front. The massage itself was excellent. The therapist was knowledgeable, and the sports massage felt both effective and relaxing.

From the moment you walk in, Ara and his wife (the owners) make you feel right at home—always greeting you with genuine warmth, answering every question, and sharing insights on how to get the most out of each session. The rest of the team is equally knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring that your experience is both safe and effective every time. I have been doing the Contrast Therapy circuit: ~20 mins in the dry sauna to sweat out toxins, immediately followed by a frigid cold plunge, and capped off with a session under their red light panels. This trio has been helping my skin—leaving it smoother and more radiant—and I’ve noticed real improvements in muscle recovery and even a subtle boost in fat loss although it's only been ~2 weeks, which is impressive. Beyond the physical benefits, there’s a huge mood lift that comes from conquering that icy plunge; the endorphin rush feels like a built-in victory lap every time. The class pass credits are worth it, but the membership is a great deal (which I ended up signing up for). With the membership, you’re welcome to come every day if you want, and I aim for about four visits a week. It’s rare to find a wellness center with such generous access paired with top-tier facilities and truly caring staff. They let me stay as long as I liked, but it took 45 minutes to reach 105 and it never really got very hot even after 90 minutes (or as hot as I am used to in infrared saunas).
