Sarah will push you to breaking point whilst building you up. You will learn your limits and know you can push past them. You will walk out of class ready to conquer the universe. This is not demure, this is feral and amazing. 10/10

alle beoordelingen weergevenIt was my first time here and I really liked it, the instructor was super friendly and helpful and took a few minutes to teach me all of the moves. The other people in the class weren’t intimidating or super hard core so I felt like it was a welcome environment

alle beoordelingen weergevenThis was my first strength-focused fitness class ever and I came alone pretty nervous, but Jaina was so extremely helpful with her corrections and suggestions! It was definitely difficult (and I was using the lightest weights!), but I feel really good coming out of it and I intend to come back and take more classes :)

alle beoordelingen weergevenThis gym usually has 2 parts to the workout: strength and metcon/cardio, which I like that approach. Workout today was heavy squats (several sets every 3min). Then metcon workout for 15min with jump rope, kettlebell swings and wall balls.

alle beoordelingen weergevenToday’s Core Classics class was terrific! Cat kept a focused, calm yet somehow still energizing vibe in the studio from start to finish. Her directions were clear and concise, and she modeled each action too. She came over to assist me and another newcomer when we needed it (ex: using the XFormer, shifting our body position, or redirecting us when we were completely off). What I appreciated most of all, though, was how she offered modifications to each movement with info about how each would work a body part/s differently, add or decrease challenge, be more protective of certain parts, etc. She said all of this fluidly and concisely and maintained a body positive, judgement neutral tone—the point is to find and do what is best for your body that day. I loved it! She also took time after class to ask about my experiences at her studio so far and and actively listened to my responses. She shared which classes and instructors might be the strongest fit for me, based on my needs and schedule. I’m looking forward to my next class at Core Havn!

She adapted exercises that I wasn’t able to execute properly, giving individual attention to each of us in the class. It was a great experience and I’m certainly coming back!
