Good workout. Katie said our bodies would shake and quiver. They did. She said our abs would be sore the next day. They were. I wish it was easier to see the instructors moves instead of being dependent on other attendees to perform the moves, but great class. Would go back!

Really amazing fun class and workout. Teacher is high-energy and fun ! It’s the level and speed of an intermediate hip-hop dance class. Not recommended if you’re a beginning dancer or struggle with choreography. The routine does repeat a lot though, so you’ll eventually catch on !! So much fun and nice toning afterward too ! Loved it !!

Very much a technique driven class. I thought it would be more like Zumba where you're doing fast paced Latin dances and working up a good sweat. It's more about counts and steps and the perfect way to do a turn. Nothing wrong with that, just know what you're signing up for.

    Zi- Cardio - In Studio

I’ve always loved MaZi classes but missed Kylie (I think that was her name? Werq instructor) when she left and felt like other instructors can be hard to follow when their energy doesn’t match the beat ( like almost too chaotic energy?) AND they don’t give any cues at all throughout, so I was so happy to have Nickie who was high energy, but right on beat and gave intermittent quick cues that made it so much easier to follow! So fun!

I have never done aerial fitness and this was so much fun. There was only a little bit of aerial/cardio and it definitely had my heart pumping. I wish that this section was a little longer. The other portion of class was more stretching and small movements which I also enjoyed especially since I was a little stiff. As someone who doesn’t enjoy yoga, this was a nice alternative.

I loved that I could bring my baby to a workout class and get a good sweat on. I wish there were more classes like this in Chicago. Currently, This is the only studio that does “mommy & me” classes. Fun class! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Not sure if this is best place for an absolute beginner to latin dancing (definitely doable, however, if you are down for a challenge!), but a good place to get better and practice, especially if you know a little bit of the basics of how to lead or follow. I dance salsa and bachata and often when I go out, the DJ’s play a decent amount of cumbia, so I wanted to learn more, and this was exactly what I was looking for. The late morning classes are perfect for my schedule. I came in with a very basic understanding of the cumbia steps and left feeling like I already improved. The instructor spends a lot of 1 on 1 time with everyone to help on the aspects you are missing. Will be back!
