see all reviewsI haven’t done a full vinyasa in a while. It was actually my first ever experience with yoga. But I felt so lost then. So I took a few steps back and dis some intro yoga classes and slow flows and Berkram yoga. Now I’m more comfortable with poses and moving in a flow. I though it was time to try a vinyasa again. I’m not gonna lie, I was legit kinda scared to do this again. But once I started it I felt ok. I was still a bit shaky and slower but at least I could do the poses this time even if my balance wasn’t all the way there some of the time. I’ve gotten stronger over the last few months so that really helps too. The instructor tonight was great at calling the poses but she also did some limited demonstration. She also corrected some form with a few of the students. Then she also gave students the opportunity to expand their practice by doing some more advanced variations and even some arm stands and inversions. Those are too much for me at this time so I didn’t try and I felt ok with it. I’ve taken other classes where we’ve been given some to try. I’ve tried before and just can’t get my feet up off the floor quite yet. It was a great class. Loved the cool cloth with essential oils placed on my forehead at the end of class too.

see all reviewsI had a great time at Soul Care Sunday at Wild Peace Yoga. Trina was very welcoming and provided a new way of practicing yoga that I had yet to experience… Wall Yoga!! The peacefulness of the studio (lights, music, scripture and prayers) were combined with the new challenge of participating in tonight’s practice. There were opportunities to try new poses and use the wall for support. Trina was so very encouraging and also offered modifications for making things easier or for adding extra challenge. I liked having these various options explained. The class provided the right amount of challenge and relaxation. Thank you for a great class. I’d love to come back and experience another type of class.
