The staff was so warm and welcoming, and was able to accommodate storing of my carry-on bag while I attended the class. Receptionists ensured I knew where everything was and all amenities offered. I love that there is never any pressure and you get what you need. I always feel alignment is important in her classes. Also I always feel like I take away a nugget of something special mentally. Though the heat was off, the temp climbed to 96° by the end of class and there was no air circulation so it felt like a sauna. Some people left early, and about 45 mins into class it seemed like at least 1/3 of the room was sitting out movement. It was a fun sequence and I loved the Lana playlist, but I literally thought I was going to pass out from the heat. Please at least open the doors for a cross breeze in the future!

Very intense because of the heated room but I would def come again. Music was spiritual house, wasn't that big of a fan. But loved the instructor. They also came in and gave cold towels to everyone before the cool down section started!

The balance between the volume of the music versus the amount of lyrics versus the instructions provided by the instructor are sometimes battling each other. I love bumping music in class. I love clear simple instructions.. I love inspiring lyrics. It would be best received if one stood out above the others at a time. Tonight's class happened to be very overstimulating and difficult to follow. Otherwise, I'm happily a regular and truly appreciate all the studio has to offer.

alle beoordelingen weergevenI just love this class. When I get abs and triceps and maybe even a little booty it’ll be because of this class. This is my fun, fast, intense class of the week. I do other types of Pilates classes throughout the week (chair, heated mat, reformer) but this class I leave wiggling. Taking a sip of water after, my arm already shaking. She’s just SUCH a motivating instructor. Showing up on americas birthday, doing the damn thing. Proud of that class!

alle beoordelingen weergevenI loved this class, although I did not finish it. I got really fatigue early into the class. I did my best to keep up, but eventually ended up laying down for the remainder of the class. Here is why I think this is a great class: the instructor did not disturb me while I was laying on my mat, when I opened my eyes at the end of class, I found a cold water bottle next to me and she came over and checked on me and said “I understand how it is, sometimes we get tired. I left that cold water for you.” This is a small gesture, but such a kind and warm thing to do. She never once came to ask questions, never made any comments. Just said I understand, here is how I’m going to support you. The class ended with a meditation, and it was a beautiful meditation, even though I wasn’t very engaged with the class. I felt very moved by it. A part of yoga is honoring your body and a good way to gauge if you’re with a good instructor is if they allow you to do so. I not only learned what areas of my body I need to work on while I was participating in the class, but I learned that I am with a person that is safe based on how I was treated. She’s a wonderful instructor, I would 100% encourage everyone to take this class.

I was worried about some of the negative feedback, but I found for my first reformer class that the music was not to loud (I hate when small studios blast music and put the instructor on a mic). The instructor was very clear and provided feedback/guidance as needed. Very limited parking so be sure to get there early if you have to find street parking and walk. I showed up right at the class start time and thankfully was not turned away! I would suggest, unless this place does offers beginner classes, making sure you have some reformer classes under your belt. I’ve been doing reformer classes for two or three years at Align, so jumping into a new class here was seamless for me. I appreciate they have reformer classes on ClassPass! I’ll be back.
