The class was pretty difficult as a beginner and I had to modify most moves but the instructor was welcoming in showing modifications as well.

They made sure I knew what equipment I needed and even helped me set it up during transitions so that I didn’t have to fall behind. Awesome environment, they made me feel so welcome and comfortable!

Having showers onsite is certainly nice perk too! Instructions was good but the layout was a little strange, had never been in a class where the students were perpendicular to the teacher. Made it a little difficult to see what we were doing in some parts of the class but overall it was a wonderful class with modifications to make it easier or harder depending on what you need.

I was always intimidated by barre because I’ve heard it’s super hard and yeah for sure you’ll be sweating and maybe climbing up the stairs on all fours afterwards for a few days but Jackie did a wonderful job balancing out the whole body routine so you’re not burnt out by the end. It also flies by so quickly! This was a great introduction to barre for me can’t wait to take it again.
