alle beoordelingen weergeven⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I took Kerri’s 7:00 AM Ashtanga Vinyasa (Follow) class and really enjoyed it. As someone who is still relatively new to Ashtanga and currently working through about the first third of the Primary Series, this class was incredibly valuable. I’ve learned many of the poses individually, but I had not experienced the full sequence in its traditional flow. It was a treat to see how one posture transitions into the next. Which was something I need to see as an experience and for learning purposes. That alone helped me tremendously in my own practice. Kerri teaches in a very traditional and authentic way. The pace was slightly faster than what I’m used to, but it never felt overwhelming or took away from the experience. It challenged me in a good way and gave me a better understanding of the rhythm and structure of the series. If you are completely new to yoga, this may not be the best place to start. However, if you have some familiarity with Ashtanga or at least know the opening sequence and first portion of the Primary Series, this class is an excellent way to deepen your practice. Even if you don’t know every posture beyond that point, you can follow along and learn as you go. The most difficult part of Ashtanga in the beginning is often learning the sequence and the Sanskrit terminology. Once you become familiar with the first portion, everything starts to make much more sense. Kerri is a knowledgeable and authentic teacher, and I would highly recommend her class to anyone looking to experience traditional Ashtanga as it was intended to be practiced.
