She did her best to cater to both regulars and new comers and even translated to Mandarin for those who needed it. see all reviewsThe space is really nice and calming. It's a stretch class and we also used tennis balls for myofascial release (my first time doing a myofascial release class). Some of the stretches can be quite deep (depending on your body). But the good thing is Wilfred gave options each time so it's good for every body type. I like this class, it's a really good class to end the day. Felt like I had a really good massage. (I came to add this to my review: I had the DEEPEST SLEEP OF THE YEAR after this class last night. Amazing~)

see all reviewsChristine is experienced and thus, she has higher expectations in class. I won't recommend it if you are joining yoga for the very first time. Despite this being a basic class, the poses were relatively intense and delivery speed was fast. Today's yoga was focused on the lower half body and phew, it was intense even for me who has been practicing yoga for quite a while now. Anyhow, if you are looking for an experienced and caring instructor for a basic class, look no further! Join Christine's class. 👍

Got a good challenge, some sweat, and learned some skills I learned today are resistance band muscle up, L sit, pistol squats, and front lever. (Was most excited about getting my first assisted muscle up, obviously, haha!) Am excited to incorporate what I've learned into my own training, and hopefully come back again one day when finances and time permits! 💪

see all reviewsThe staff members were really friendly from the time I arrived and introduced me to the location. One of them also helped me select a mat with a good view of the trainer, who throughout the session would prompt me to watch him for each set. The class was easy to follow after a while even if I wasn’t very familiar with the names of each move. Would recommend beginners to start with the lightest weights if they are not used to using weights and having little breaks between moves. Would advise the staff to check in on any injuries prior to beginning the session as it’s just a good practice in terms of supervising their participants. I am able to gauge what I can and cannot do while recovering from injury and started with light weights to see how my body handled it but not everyone might be able to do the same.

It challenged just enough, and ended off with a short and soothing soundbath. see all reviewsThis is my first calisthenics class and I must say this is a very interesting class. I learnt a lot of good tips from Nick like how to do a proper dead hang (having the right hand positioning etc) and learning the proper forms on the other skills as well. Nick demonstrates each step clearly and he also helped each of us achieve the moves (or close to them). Plus, he conducts the class in a light-hearted manner and he's humourous and encouraging to each of us so the class is actually very fun (though the moves aren't easy). There were a few regulars in class and all in all, they were all lovely and the class was super enjoyable. Like the other reviewers have mentioned, the moves look simple but are difficult to master. I usually do group workouts but calisthenics is using different muscles (I feel). I really need to practise more. I think calisthenics is quite fun (though difficult), it's definitely something I want to pursue further. (There are 2 rooms - one on level 2 and one on level 3. Lockers, water cooler and changing rooms are at level 2. You can check where your class is at)
