Her energy is infectious, her coaching is so motivating, and she has such a gift for making every rider feel seen and supported. It’s impossible not to leave Dominique’s class smiling. Hoping to see her in London soon. Ooh and I loved this studio

Similarly, her choreography was great it reminded me of old SoulCycle where there was a choreo option for most of the songs but she was also great about queuing pushes. I didn’t feel like there was much sprinting but it could have been a factor of the theme genre. If I was going to offer any criticism it was that the resistance queuing wasn’t very varied throughout class, her mic was LOUD which could be distracting, and the class started 5 minutes late which isn’t ideal for a morning workday ride.

I chose a beautiful day with perfect weather, but what pleasantly surprised me even more was finding out that they offer these classes during the winter as well. I think that’s fantastic! Finding the entrance was a little confusing at first because it’s not the main entrance, but rather a side entrance that connects to the building. However, the doorman at The Excelsior knows exactly where to direct you, so it was easy to figure out. I was genuinely impressed by how huge and beautiful the facilities are. The gym has a pool, an amazing variety of classes, huge locker rooms, and, on top of all that, this fantastic rooftop that is so well utilized. The cycling class itself was physically challenging, which I absolutely loved. The instructor was also very nice, patient, and welcoming. One of my favorite features was the headphones provided during the class. I found that incredibly innovative, especially because I love immersive music experiences. The music selection was fantastic, and the songs were so well chosen for the energy of the class. I left feeling so happy and energized, and I’m definitely coming back! I’d love to try the other class formats they offer as well. Such a great experience!
