see all reviewsRoom is not big but has a good variety of equipments (stair climbers, ski machines, treadmills, air bikes, squat stands, etc.). Love the structure of the class (7-min rounds of different workouts) it makes you busy and not bored. I’m a beginner for fitness classes and this is challenging but not impossible as you can use lighter weights. Tracy checked in with me a few times during the class knowing I’m new, teaching me how to use equipments, the right postures and the right muscles to use.

But Tara is also amazing at brining the energy, the encouragement, and the fire playlists through the whole class. Not to mention, the two Tara classes I’ve been to have been the hardest classes I’ve ever been to. Girl knows how to make us work. Love love love.

I feel like I get a really good workout here with weights, which is something I’m really focused on and the people are nice and make it non-intimidating. I’ve been working out pretty much all my life, but I’m really new to strength training and so I appreciate The perfect mix. In my opinion of push and education. Thanks guys for everything you’re doing.

see all reviewsClass was 4 stations, each with 3 weight exercises (RDL, shoulder press, etc) and 1 conditioning (treadmill running, burpees, etc). Just a heads up to others since I usually don’t plan to wear my good running bra for a “strength” class. Good balanced workout.

see all reviewsI never did a Hyrox workout before so I looked at YouTube. This class isn’t quite hyrox - it was 8 stations set up as intervals of 1:15 min on/ 20s off, repeat 8 times. The real hyrox isnt intervals, it’s just straight through. But this format kept it accessible for everyone, so that was nice. Instructor had so much energy. He was awesome and kept us going. Great playlist too. Throwback to all my fav college bangers for this elder millennial.

see all reviewsMy favorite local workout class! Dani is the best. Really welcoming and encouraging to those of all fitness levels. Challenging but always varied and fun. I appreciate the close attention given to proper form and modifications provided when needed. The structure and timing of each circuit is well thought out, so it’s actually doable with time for rest between sets and to wipe down equipment before switching stations. I’m not someone who typically enjoys strength training or HIIT, but I know it’s good for my health, and I honestly look forward to going here.

see all reviewsOut of all the bar studios in the area, this is my preferred one. The vibe is very welcoming and you can tell the people who go here know and like each other. It’s a tough workout, but the room isn’t pitch black or with music so loud it could be a nightclub (those are not my favorite experiences). People of all ages go here. Everyone is kind, and it also feels more laid-back than other studios I’ve been to, which I like. The staff puts away the weights and props for you, which I am usually happy to do on my own, but it does make it feel like that extra touch elevated experience. Showers available and plenty of bathroom space. Street parking is available and I’ve never had an issue finding parking. They don’t require you to purchase special socks from them, you can wear your own.

Her class has benefited me almost as much as my chiropractor. She's great at taking us through postures in a flow-like manner while coming around to help us adjust the poses which she does with our consent. see all reviewsThe class was thoughtfully paced, with a mix of challenging and restorative poses. The challenging poses built up to a crescendo, and then we wound down into shavasana. The teacher, Emily, gave verbal feedback on any modifications and was generally very positive about listening to our bodies and doing what we needed in each pose and moment. Also, she gave everyone a stone with one side painted and the other plain; you then place the stone painted side up if you want hands-on adjustments during the class, or plain side up if you don’t. I turned my stone from plain to painted only at the end for shavasana. Emily gave me two wonderful adjustments (one at my feet and one at my head); they felt thoughtful and respectful and helped me to ease more deeply into a relaxed state.
