It goes kind of quickly, and even though I’m pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the gym there were some names of exercises I didn’t understand and had to ask a few times. The teacher was really nice though and answered all of my questions!

Her yin classes are incredible! I feel like a new person after them and get great sleep. If you feel tight and tense, I highly recommend her yin classes! They really unapologetically told me I wasn’t able to enter the class due to missing the stretching and instruction. Valid. I drove to Standard Procedure and it seriously felt like home. The owner has personally made me feel like a member from day one and is SO kind even when I have been late in the past. Her presence absolutely makes the space. It’s all about what you are looking for but for someone like me who’s literal job is to find a way to make things work for my customers despite their shortcomings, I really appreciate when this is done for me. And I know where I am going moving forward :-)

While this is definitely not my kind of workout class, I was comfortable and had some fun during it. The facility was very clean and has an array of amenities. HUGE plus for that! The only thing that really turned me off was the pressure to sign up for monthly classes. I haven’t experienced that yet at any of the studios I have gone to, though they weren’t “gym style” studios so that could be the difference. Otherwise, I will drop in here and there for a class with my bestie but it wasn’t my jam.

I feel like the people here who complained about this class have no idea what kundalini yoga is. It is Breathwork + movement! It is not a regular vinyasa flow class.
